ALSG972 Concealment Continuous Discharge Grenade, White Smoke. The ALSG972 is a pyrotechnic smoke canister that is designed to deliver a high volume of smoke upon initiation. Based on the M18 military design, the ALSG272CS utilizes an M201A1 fuze and discharges a dense smoke cloud for approximately 30-40 seconds. It is recommended that the operator attend an ALS Less-Lethal Training Class prior to use of these devices.
